Graduation Day

It's summer time and the next time I'll be going back to school, I'll be in a new school. High school is over. I waited so long for me to graduate from high school. Why did I anyway?

I have been waiting for so long I never thought it will feel bittersweet. I was sad because I'm leaving my Alma Matter behind. My friends, my teachers who I have learned so much from and other people who I've been sharing the past years of my life with.

March 26,2012 was the exact date when we marched on stage, got our diplomas, and finally been approved  graduates by the president of our school. I can't help but be happy seeing everybody else happy, my fellow graduates, the parents and the teachers. I will not forget what I have learned. I myself couldn't feel any happier, I want to thank my parents for being ever so supportive. I may have not been the ideal daughter but I know they loved me no matter what. Thanks for supporting me in everything that I do. Someday, I'm going to be cool parents like them too. I love you, mom and dad. I love you, family for keeping me sane.

As our graduation song goes "these memories of high school life will be cherished and will never perish in our minds" .

After the ceremony my sister Joanna and I went to Max's restaurant, MCU. It's a tradition of our family to eat at Max's every after graduation. :)

I also felt happy because the long wait is over, I can now move on. I keep looking into the future waiting for it come I never realized the importance of the now and that is what I'm going to keep in my mind starting today. To stop looking so much into the future and live every moment wisely.

About the Blogger

Hi. I decided to put up a blog to document my experiences here in Cebu.

It's summer 2012, I just graduated high school and an incoming freshman college student in I-still-don't-know-where. I haven't decided yet. I still have a few weeks to decide. The next 4 years will surely be a roller coaster ride. I will enter a new world they call college.

I'm actually quite nervous. Who isn't? Well, some maybe excited but I'm more nervous. First, as mentioned above, I still have to decide which university/college to enroll in. Second, I'll be entering a new phase of my life. The first phase of my life done and this is big school we're talking about now. New school, completely different environment. I'm excited to meet new people though. I wish people in my new school will be as warm as the people I met in high school, the people I call friends. They say that we meet our lifetime friends in high school and I'm glad I met some of the most amazing people.

I came here to Cebu to spend my vacation with my awesome sisters Annie, Wuns and (Wuns')her family. I've been here for 6 days and so far I'm enjoying it here. I miss my family in Manila though, especially my grand mother, dad and my mudra! No need to worry about me though, I'm perfectly fine here. My sister Wuns is the best host ever. I'm well taken care of. :)

I think I have to make a list of the things I should do here to make the most out of my vacation. Some of it includes but is not limited to:

a.) Reading books.
I want to open my mind and widen my vocabulary.

b.) Spend time with Annie and my Wuns' family.
Since they live far from us, I don't see them often in Manila. I shall spend quality time with them before I go home.

c.) Blog
This is to document my life starting today so I can look back to this day years from now and remember how I was when I was 16 years old (which is my age now). I may laugh at myself in the coming years but this will be an online journal of how carefree I was when I was young (future me talking).

d.) Visit the beach.
I will not deny I came here for the beach. We know Cebu has one of the finest beaches in the Philippines and I'm not going home without visiting one. I promise to make a blog about it. :)

I also set up this blog to meet amazing people in the internet world. Hi to you reader. :)
